Follow a fun Gaudi trail and copy his style

Barcelona With Kids: Gaudi Mosaic Workshop

Get familiar with the work of Gaudi by visiting one of his impressive masterpieces in Barcelona:

Choose a trip to Parc Güell: home to many of Gaudí’s colourful works including ‘The Dragon’ and a great place to get some perspective on Barcelona. The children will enjoy the unique colours and architectural styles, as the guide explains some of the techniques used in the buildings

Or a visit to La Sagrada Familia, Gaudí’s spectacular and still unfinished cathedral which will be sure to inspire both adults and children. Climb the terraces for more views over the city and a close look at the work

Afterwards, put on your artist’s hat and enjoy a private mosaic making class with your personal guide. Get a brief introduction to modernism and Gaudi, then a short explanation on how to work and handle the mosaic tools. Then you’ll have the opportunity to create your own Gaudi-inspired piece in shapes such as a salamander, cat, dog and dolphin, among others.
